This innovative application offers an engaging way to enhance your Sauk language word recognition skills through the traditional game of hangman, infused with a unique Sac & Fox cultural perspective.

The Sac & Fox Nation, a Native American tribe based in Oklahoma, has imbued this game with vocabulary that reflects the richness of the Sauk language. The app has been updated for iOS 18 and is optimized for iPhone and iPad retina displays in portrait mode.

It provides three levels of difficulty, catering to both casual gamers and fluent Sauk speakers. Depending on the selected difficulty, players can utilize translation buttons to switch between Sauk and English. Higher difficulty settings yield greater point potential per round, making the game both challenging and rewarding.

Current categories include: Numbers, Colors, Animals, and an “All” category that combines elements from all three. The Game Center feature allows users to challenge friends and track high scores across various categories, including visibility of leaderboards.

The app remembers high scores for individual devices, enhancing competitive play. Additionally, users can personalize their gaming experience by purchasing extra hangman themes through in-app purchases. For those interested in exploring different aesthetics, reward ads offer one-hour access to Robot and Zombie themes.

It is important to note that advertisements do appear within the app.
